About

I have infused my daily life – including my day job as a Realtor – with writing and writing practice. I fit it in everywhere, whether I’m composing a birthday greeting to a loved one, jotting down an impromptu haiku, emailing a colleague, or working on my three blogs, two novels and book of essays about real estate.

What I mean to say is: If you want to write, then write. Because if you’re writing, you’re a writer.

Wild Heart Writing is a space about writing, for writers. Contributions are welcome; just contact me. Please check back regularly for announcements about events and Wild Heart Writing workshops (they fill up fast).

As for my credentials, I have a B. S. in Journalism from the prestigious School of Mass Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Before becoming a real estate agent, I worked as a freelance writer, reporter, PR assistant and waitress. For years, I served as facilitator for the San Francisco group for Hoffman Process graduates. I regularly lead mindfulness and writing workshops in a variety of settings, including San Francisco Zen Center, Green Gulch Farm, Tassajara and San Francisco YMCA. I also facilitate writing circles for professional organizations and companies,  and at private gatherings (family reunions, birthday celebrations, retirement parties, etc.).
