“Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination…”
~ Mary Oliver

Fresh from an inspirational weekend of writing at Green Gulch Farm, I’m happy to announce that Laurie Senauke and I are again leading a 5-day retreat for writers (of all levels of experience) as part of Tassajara Zen Mountain Center’s guest season.

Please join us and fill your page with the “breathings of your heart” (Wordsworth) in an environment that’s ideal for contemplation and creativity. We will invoke our muse through mindfulness and meditation, then we’ll write and play, using a variety of easy-to-follow prompts. In between sessions there will be ample time for relaxation, Zen practice, walking, soaking in the hot springs, eating delicious and healthy food, and more.

Tassajara is one of the most peaceful places on earth, and is an ideal environment for bringing new words and perspectives to life. It’s a comforting, inspiring and supportive setting.

Note, unlike our last three Tassajara workshops, this year’s retreat is for women only. To learn more or to register, click here. And please sign up soon, as space is limited and this year’s workshop is expected to fill quickly.

I lead writing workshops in the Bay Area, and spend much of my so-called free time writing. To support my avocation (and my family) I sell residential real estate in San Francisco; for more about that visit RealEstateTherapy.org or CynthiaCummins.com.
